Do I dare start Tarvaris Jackson over Warner in the championship?

Can't believe I'm even considering it, but the weather forecast for Cards/Pats on Sunday keeps getting worse -- now supposed to snow all morning and continue throughout the game. Meaningless game for the Cards, and this seems like it has all the makings of a game where the Pats jump out to a nice lead and Arizona sits Warner much of the 2H to assure he's healthy for the playoffs.

Other QB on my roster is Big Ben. Don't particularly like the matchup against the Titans.

Minnesota's weather won't be any better...

I'd go Big Ben in a heartbeat IF the weather in New England is going to be brutal come gametime. Titans are missing some key defensive players and their rush will likely be less than half of what they are used to. Ben could have a nice game.

I like Orlovsky better than Jackson. Better chance of AP stealing TD's than Detroit's backs.

Minny is in a dome. The Lions QB would be a viable option too. I would pick him up now to block someone else from doing it.

haha, is it supposed to rain or be windy jake?

Both, and the players may be in bad moods after the cold walk to the friggin MetroDome. :ohno:

Orlovsky's actually starting for my opponent tomorrow. It's a very deep league with 11 bench spots allowed. I actually picked up Tarvaris this past week for the same reason you mentioned -- to block my opponent, who's lacking at QB, from grabbing him after his big game last Sunday against the Cards.

There's no one to pickup that can help me. Exclusively injured QBs and backups available at this point. Warner, Tarvaris and Roethlisberger are my only options. I don't anticipate many points being put up in the Pitt/Tenn game, so Big Ben's probably third on my list right now. Going to wait until right before game time to check the weather before deciding on Warner/Tarvaris. Basically, I think I'm screwed. Warner's pretty much responsible for getting my team to the finals. Now, I might have to sit the guy for Tarvaris freakin' Jackson. Fuck me.

FantasyGuru has TJ and DO tied for 14th. Warner is 2nd, but check weather.

If you started TJ today, congrats. He was a monster.

Yeah, I did go with Tarvaris over Warner. Didn't matter, though, because my receivers shit the bed. Championship week and Andre Johnson goes MIA, Calvin Johnson doesn't score and Lee Evans is worthless.
